A three-day digital detox
Swantara is a journey through mind, body and spirit, rooted in nature, temples and quiet views. Three days to slow down and reconnect with yourself, with the land and with the people beside you.

Within, around and beyond
Before the journey
Days of sameness. A feeling that nothing quite means anything. A creative spark, pressed down by daily life and by what the world expects of us.
Even kindness has shrunk to a quick “thank you”, a “sorry”, a half-hearted smile. What we need is change: rest, renewal, and time to connect with nature and with each other.
The world is full of apps that soothe the chaos. Very few reach its root. We wanted to make something for the human in us.Why Swantara
Each day of the journey tends to one part of you, so you leave whole.
Mind · Day one
Friday 30 October
Meditation and yoga with experienced teachers, to help you meet emotional turmoil with calm and find the stillness that waits beneath it.
Breathe with us
In for four · hold for two · out for six
Breakfast on the way.
Rest and reset.
This is where phones are handed in.
In a quiet, serene hall.
An hour with your phone, if you want it.

Saturday 31 October
A walk through coffee estates, an afternoon trek and a long look at the land around you, to stretch your muscles, steady your balance and open your eyes to the hills.

Walking meditation · lift, move, place
7 AM · The estate
A plantation walk and a hunt for a hidden temple, with meditation and yoga at one of the temples.

A trek up the hill, with yoga and meditation at the top.
Meditation and yoga at one of the temples.
A workshop in nature.
The swimming pool, or simply rest.
Yoga and meditation on the way.
Everything on the way
Each journey is a complete travel plan. We take care of the details, so your attention can stay where it belongs.
Spirit · Day three
Sunday 1 November
A call to a renewal that has no name, and a fresh love for a good life, found through people and nature. The journey ends among old temples on the road home.
Listen with us
Turn your sound on, tap the bell, and listen until it fades.

What we offer
We are building a place, and a plan, for people to step beyond their screens and feel the things that make life real.
Three days that tend to mind, body and spirit, in places rooted in nature, temples and serene views. A complete travel plan, from the road there to the last quiet morning.
A safe, non-judgemental space for changemakers and unconventional minds. Relaxed meditation and yoga to wake creative zeal, and open circles to share ideas for a better world. Many brilliant ideas never take flight because no one listened. Here, everyone is heard.

Why Swantara
Swantara is a three-day digital detox for people who feel the weight of screens and sameness. This is why we built it, and what makes it different.
What we see
Days of sameness, and a feeling that nothing quite means anything.
A creative spark, pressed down by daily life and by what the world expects of us.
Kindness shrunk to a quick “thank you”, a “sorry”, a half-hearted smile.
The world is full of apps that soothe the chaos. Very few reach its root. We wanted to make something for the human in us.
Our answer
Swantara stands for within, around and beyond. Each day of the journey turns you one way, like the three arcs of the ring in our logo.
Day one · Mind
Turn inward. Meditation and yoga with experienced teachers, your phone handed in, and an evening walk to Hirekolale Lake.
See day oneDay two · Body
Notice the land and the people around you. Coffee estates at first light, The Art of Noticing, a trek up Bandekallu Gudda, and bonfire evenings with your group.
See day twoDay three · Spirit
Look past yourself. A last quiet morning, then the Hoysala temples of Beluru, Halebidu and Belavadi on the road home.
See day threeWhat makes it different
Phones are handed in on day one. There is one hour of screen time on each of the first two evenings, so no one feels cut off.
Each batch is kept small, so the group feels like company, not a crowd.
Every session is guided by people who know their practice.
Mind, body and spirit each get a full day of their own.
Transport from Bangalore and back, two nights at Samarya and vegetarian meals are all arranged.
Coffee hills, a lake, a hill trek and centuries-old temples, all in Karnataka.
Is it for you?
